DOOR CONSTRUCTION
MEE is a precision engineering company. The enclosure is designed from robust materials, aluminium extrusions and 3/16" thick plexiglass. The enclosure is designed to last the lifetime of the cart. MEE Engineers have designed hinged doors for the work vehicles and sliding doors for multi-passenger shuttles.
Each door is suspended on two 4 wheeled trolleys within a guide rail. At the bottom, the doors have nylon sliders to retain them within a track on the bottom rail.
The nylon sliders are spring loaded upwards so that any contamination in the track falls to the ground and does not restrict the door operation. (We view this to be most important).
Each side consists of a front and rear panel and a door, each side is bolted together using only 7 bolts. Each bolt is provided with a captive nut for ease of assembly.
The enclosure is supported at the bottom on the floor of the cart (and specific designed brackets are used to attach at the top), these brackets vary with each model of cart.
INSTALLATION
The MEE Enclosure can be assembled and installed by almost any golfer or service person without any major alterations to the cart
You will receive your MEE in a cardboard box, all the components inside are
completely shrink wrapped. Instructions are provided on how to assemble and install.
Because you have not seen one before it may take up to 2 hours to install, (Golf cart)
afterwards it takes much less than this.
