Share
Motorculture is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and learn the specialist trade of servicing, repairing, and preparing golf buggies, utility vehicles and shuttles.
This is an apprenticeship-style opportunity for someone who is currently studying mechanics at college or has recently finished their studies and is looking to start a career in the motor industry. We work in a unique sector, so we're not looking for someone who already knows everything – we're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and an interest in developing skills.
This role is designed for someone who wants to learn a trade and build a long-term career. You'll receive hands-on training from our experienced team, developing the skills and knowledge needed to service, repair and maintain buggies.
Initially, you'll work with us on your day off from college and during half terms and holidays, gaining valuable workshop experience. As your skills develop and once you've completed your studies, there will be opportunities to progress into a Field Service Engineer role, attending customer sites to carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing vehicles for sale
- Learning servicing, maintenance and repair procedures
- Assisting with workshop tasks and repairs
- Working alongside experienced technicians
What We're Looking For:
- Basic mechanical and electrical understanding
- Confident, reliable and eager to learn
- Practical, hands-on approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Looking to build a long-term career
- Either hold a Full UK Driving Licence or be committed to learning to drive and obtaining one, as this is essential for progression into our Field Service Engineer role
What We Offer:
- Full on-the-job training
- Clear progression into a Field Service Engineer role
- Friendly and supportive working environment
- The opportunity to learn a specialist trade within a growing business operating in a unique sector
If this sounds like you, or someone you know, we'd love to hear from you.
- Email Stuart@motorculture.co.uk with a bit about yourself, alongside your CV.
